The features forming part of the Services provided by Harmoney includes an Interactive Communication Service. ('Chat Services' or 'Communication Services') refers to the instant messaging and chat features offered by Yenomrah Technologies Private Limited ('Harmoney') that allow Customers and Users ('Customer/User/You') to contribute content and/or facilitate interactivity between users whether accessed independently or embedded within the Harmoney website at www.harmoney.in ('Website').
If You do not comply with this Code of Conduct, Harmoney may suspend or terminate Your access to the Chat Services without prejudice to the right to seek recourse, including financial recourse, against You in the event of a breach.
User Restrictions
The Customer/User shall not host, display, upload, modify, publish, transmit, store, update or share any information through the Chat Services that,—
- belongs to another person and to which the User does not have any right;
- is defamatory, obscene, pornographic, paedophilic, invasive of another's privacy, including bodily privacy, insulting or harassing on the basis of gender, libellous, racially or ethnically objectionable, relating or encouraging money laundering or gambling, or otherwise inconsistent with or contrary to the laws in force; is harmful to children;
- infringes any patent, trademark, copyright or other proprietary rights;
- violates any law for the time being in force;
- deceives or misleads the addressee about the origin of the message or knowingly and intentionally communicates any information which is patently false or misleading in nature but may reasonably be perceived as a fact;
- impersonates another person; or use of a false name or details, misrepresent Your role or who You work for, or otherwise deceive Harmoney or other users;
- threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of India, friendly relations with foreign States, or public order, or causes incitement to the commission of any cognisable offence or prevents investigation of any offence or is insulting other nation;
- contains software virus or any other computer code, file or program designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer resource;
- is patently false and untrue, and is written or published in any form, with the intent to mislead or harass a person, entity or agency for financial gain or to cause any injury to any person;
- contains advertising or marketing material, or spam; chain mails, malicious software code, or any bulky or disruptive attachments or graphics of a nature which may cause problems to other users;
- may cause a security breach or network security risk
- may amount to conduct of unauthorized investment advice or financial promotions;
You acknowledge that the Chat Services, or any interactive feature within the Website, shall not be deemed a trade execution venue. Any communication done pertaining to any transaction or trading activity with the aid of the Chat Services is done at your own risk.
User Responsibilities
- You agree to inform Harmoney or your Account Manager, of any security issues which may affect other users, or which may affect the Chat Services.
- If You have problems with the Chat Services, including service quality, please contact Your Account Manager. In the event you have any grievances relating to violation of this Code, please refer the Grievance Redressal mechanism as mentioned below.
- Harmoney does not routinely monitor, verify, act as editor, or represent the accuracy of, any material on or sent via Chat Services, nor does Harmoney accept any liability for such material. Comments and opinions submitted are those of the individual users. Your reliance on any such material is at Your own risk and You are solely responsible for the information You submit via the Messenger Services.
- You control the distribution of any information You post on the Chat Services. Harmoney accepts no responsibility for how that information is used by other users of the Chat Services.
- You agree that Harmoney may remove or block all or some information posted via Chat Services if Harmoney believes You have breached this Code or for other justifiable reasons to protect against violations of law.

Harmoney also has a designated Grievance Officer as per the provisions of the Information Technology Act, 2000 and Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 to redress grievances of users or victims.
